Yeah, this weekend was quiet a mix of conditions. On Saturday we went out on the trail with the expectation to go for a short intense ride. The conditions where really crisp following a night of quite low temperature of -6 degrees Celsius. The trails where hard with only a few damp sections and quite a bit of ice. Really nice and we took some extra routes ending up at a plus 2 hour ride. Some pictures included 🙂
Sunday was a different story. It was wet really wet and a lot of dirt ended up on the bike, clothes and face. The trails where soft and slippery and you had to fight to get through in a good tempo. The icy parts covered with water made you very happy to have the spike tires mounted. The short summary Wet, Wet, Wet, dirty dirty, dirty. I also finally invested in a real bike computer the Garmin Edge 520, so far it does its job well and i really like the Strava integration. No review will be done as of yet since i still have some things to evaluate.
