Last weekend I did some comparison between my FS (Scott Genius 720 with MK2) and HT bike (Scott Scale 35 with FastTrack) riding the same round. It is really obvious that the HT outperforms the FS in many aspects when it comes to speed (probably gear ratio) and acceleration (light and 26″) at least considering their current configuration. As soon as it get a bit more tricky the FS is a bit faster. The combination of many quite easy segments with gravel and tarmac and only shorter tricky parts ended up in quite a few personal bests with the HT. At the end the FS is much funnier and I tend to take many more challanges but the HT is really fun to ride when the only aim is speed and workout.
