This weekend was a really nice one with perfect temperature and shining sun.
On Saturday after a busy week I hit the trails with the ambition to concur some STRAVA KOMs.
Started off in a moderate tempo to warm-up in a good way. After that I got to the initial segments and increased the speed a lot:)
First segments went ok but encountered some obstacles, what ?? People and dogs on the Trail!! this shouldn’t be allowed;)
Continued with good speed through some additional segments where the possibility to catch the KOM isn’t there right now since trees have fallen down and the trails have taken a different path. Finally got to some of the real challenges where the possibility and conditions where good, though not perfect. Set of in really good phase and where sure that the to final segments where Mine. After that some cooling down on the Gravel and Tarmac Transport back home.
Back home I picked up the phone and checked STRAVA… I’d been riding for 1 hour and 22 minutes with a total distance of 71meters!!! GPS FAIIIIL…!!
So that was that, no worries I’m not that ….
Sunday back in the saddle off on the same route with the same ambition. I probably picked up the phone 10 time to check whether STRAVA was running or not… It was..for sure. Full speed but the legs didn’t feel as fresh as on Saturday. One PB’s and some top 10 results but not what I aimed at. The results as below with a decent average at least. OaO/Thomas
